The Sanguinaires Islands

Au programme

Mysterious and captivating, the Sanguinaires Islands, now classified as a Natura 2000 site, offer you a wonderful spectacle. Surrounded by four dark-coloured rocky islands, this haven of peace is home to several bird colonies that can be seen during sea trips, as well as unique flora.

Between flamboyant sunsets, swimming, wine tasting, and sampling Corsican charcuterie and cheese, let yourself be carried away for a few hours to the archipelago of four rocky islands aboard our boats for an authentic and surprising visit.

The tour will depart from Ajaccio and Porticcio in the late afternoon and then set sail for the islands, a journey of thirty minutes. The boat will dock at the first island, commonly known as ‘la Grande Sanguinaire’ (the Great Bloodthirsty One): Mezzu Mare, for a two-hour stopover. This will give you time to explore the Alphonse Daudet lighthouse, dating from 1870, and stretch your legs among the ruins of the Lazaret, which overlook the Mediterranean Sea from a height of over 80 metres: breathtaking views guaranteed. To add a touch of indulgence to your excursion, the captain will offer you a tasting of Corsican wine and charcuterie on site, allowing you to discover the flagship products of the Isle of Beauty while enjoying a 360-degree view over the sea. A real break suspended in time to enjoy all that this beautiful island has to offer.

To prolong this pleasant moment, the boat will set sail again as the sun begins to set, offering you the unique spectacle of a crimson sky surrounded by the four islands of the archipelago.
