Come and discover one of the wonders of Corsica's west coast: the Scandola Nature Reserve. This natural habitat, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a spectacular sight. With its terrestrial and marine flora and fauna, the reserve is full of secrets and beauty. The diversity and richness of this nature reserve will make your excursion authentic and particularly informative, allowing you to observe nature at its best.
Embark early in the morning aboard our boats for an excursion full of surprises.
Head for the tip of Scandola for an hour-long trip with a stop for swimming, to discover the most hidden parts of the reserve. Our boats will sail along the unmissable cliffs of Ryolites, vertiginous peaks and inaccessible islets, and will enter most of the caves, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, offering you a particularly enjoyable spectacle.The boat will resume its journey around midday to reach the small fishing village of Girolata. This hamlet in the municipality of Osani, on the west coast of Corsica, is renowned for its golf course of the same name, located in the Corsica Regional Nature Park. You will have a two-hour break to enjoy lunch in the heart of the village. Several restaurants welcome you, allowing you to sample local produce while overlooking the sea. Reservations are recommended. It will also be possible to picnic on the beaches accompanied by wildlife.
The boat trip to Scandola will continue towards the Calanques de Piana, which are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on the west coast. Its unique red granite rocks and heart-shaped boulders attract the curiosity of many travellers. The boat will sail along the coast and slip into the caves, offering you a spectacular view. We will then head to Capo Rosso to end the trip. You will have the opportunity to stop for a swim and dive into the turquoise waters. The crystal-clear water will allow you to see a multitude of fish, so grab your masks and snorkels!
