Discover the most beautiful sites in Corsica: Bonifacio and the Lavezzi Islands. Located between Corsica and Sardinia, this incredible archipelago surrounded by turquoise waters is made up of 23 islands, islets and granite reefs, including Lavezzo Island, home to a lighthouse built in 1874 and two marine cemeteries.
If you are looking forward to an excursion on the west coast, the captain will meet you in Ajaccio at 8:00 am, then in Porticcio at 8:15 am. The boat will then set sail for an hour and a half of freedom, with the wind in your hair, heading for the archipelago.Once there, you will discover the magnificent rocks of the surrounding islands. You will be offered a stop to enjoy the turquoise waters of the Lavezzi Islands, or at Piantarella, also known as the ‘Piantarella Lagoon’. Fine sand and sunshine await you.
To continue this sunny sea voyage to Bonifacio, the boat will head towards the cliffs of Bonifacio. You will then be able to observe the unique features of these steep, white cliffs from different viewpoints, including the King of Aragon's staircase, the open-air cave and Napoleon's cave.
To continue this wonderful discovery, the captain will stop around midday for a two-and-a-half-hour break in Bonifacio, a town brimming with energy and unique architecture, which makes it so special. There are many restaurants where you can enjoy lunch and discover local and seasonal produce. You can also enjoy a stroll through the old town or simply sit by the sea with a delicious sandwich in hand.To continue this splendid excursion, the boat will set sail again towards the Gulf of Roccapina for a swimming stop. The crystal-clear sea offers a fine sandy beach at the bottom of the bay. The captain will extend the excursion to Tivella beach with a swimming stop. Then we will head to the Senetosa lighthouse, south of the Gulf of Valinco, and Tizzano, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a drink or two on the terrace.
To round off the trip, the boat will head to Cacao beach, commonly known in the region as Cacalu beach. We will then return to Ajaccio bay and Porticcio at sunset after a beautiful sea voyage towards Bonifacio.
